Project Summary
The main purpose of this project is to improve the work with young adults in the system of European voluntary service. The main activities covered by project are coachings for volunteers and those interested in EVS. Coaching interviews enable young people use EVS as an educational tool in all phases. They will understand since the beginning of EVS till their return to the home country the concept of EVS as an opportunity to develop their competencies, that are necessary for successful social and professional integration. Thanks to coaching young people are able to conveniently choose their place of work and set their educational objectives with respect to the planned professional careers.The research will be focused on the development of key competencies of EVS volunteers within EVS, the results will form the basis for further intellectual outputs of this project. There will be also EVS competence profile prepared and Online Tool created, which is a universal monitoring self assessment level of own competencies volunteers output-based coaching sessions tool. Online access to a this tool will also be available for representatives of the sending and hosting organizations. In order to disseminate examples of good practices there will be video methodology created about the use of coaching methods in the EVS program, which will allow coordinators of sending and hosting organisations plan together with the volunteer process of developing his/her competencies.All results and outcomes of the project would be accessible for free and could be used by all actors of European Voluntary Service.
