Project Summary
The (main) objective of this project is to enhance and develop competencies of trainers and teachers in the domain of adult education so as to apply innovative methods in developing, teaching and quick mastering of various types of educational content (subjects) in their practice. The innovative methods will be developed and based on a number of modern educational theories, such as Accelarative learning, Suggestopedia, Experiential learning, Montessori education, Waldorf education, etc. It is aimed at making the best use of these theories to develop an evidence-based practical approach – a quick learning instrument of high-quality. A five-stage training course for trainers and teachers will be designed by the project partners who will therefore employ the designed methods in training specific target groups of adults, such as marginal ethnic groups and/or refugees, improving their basic skills and key competencies, as well as their opportunities for further inclusion at the labour market or in life-long learning activities. A part of the training and a wide range of training resources will be Internet-based in view of using ICT. The effectiveness and efficiency of the methods will be measured by using an especially designed system of monitoring, measurement and reporting of the training results, which will be identical for all countries. The target groups in all countries will be of the same kind in order to enable comparative analyses of the learners’ achievements. The project participation of different countries will enable us to prove the universal nature of the designed methods, and more specifically, to ascertain that the methods may be applied to all types of educational content (subjects) and to all types of learners/trainees.
