DIFME sought to enhance micro entrepreneurs’ skills, through an innovative, integrated learning approach, addressing the identified skills gaps, involving businesses through the online tools and building a sustainable partnership between HEIs and industry. It has promoted the acquisition of skills and key competences, and will provide an effective and innovative online tool to teaching and promoting entrepreneurship education.

Based on a cooperative learning model, consisting of a modular learning system of key financial and internationalisation skills, an SME Hub, HEI-SME learning tandems as well as various formats of interdisciplinary multi-stakeholder fora, DIFME has developed new, innovative and multidisciplinary approaches by integrating necessary skills in a curriculum which is adapted to the real needs of the industry with an e-learning platform made available

The project has been implemented successfully given the limitations of the COVID situation, balanced by new opportunities a of online cooperation and outreach. All deliverables have been submitted close to original deadlines albeit some longer time for development.Testing validated the objective of achieving clear objectives of the learning model, relevance of content, clarity of content, structure of the learning model, balance between theory and practical examples .
