Project Summary
Burnout manifests itself in reduced productivity and may lead to total exhaustion, apathy and some other psychosomatic
disorders. For years they were leading an active life
without routine, with many changes, challenges and stimulation. In the process of searching for a first
non-student job they re full of hope, ideas, values and beliefs. Once being shortlisted and selected
they start struggling with the second shock: entirely new order of the day/week, routine. In this phase
we can observe process of matching between X and Y generations and more experienced employees, testing their
boundaries and assessing new resources. After some time we can define the next milestone on the
path leading to work burnout: 2. Uncertain or respectively negative future prospects After time of a
full performance and effort put in the first months or years of work in the bigger structure start feeling routine and
,,deadlock” on a one position which does not correspond to their view of work, foregoing experience
and expectations. These groups starts to feel frustration, apathy, negativity, routine leads to the bad habits
and forgetting of the healthy diet and mental hygiene. In consequence batterry of symptoms lead to
the diagnosis of clinical depression or other psychological disorders like neurosis.
Needs of the group defined on the basis of our
research carried by pilot poll among 360 corporation workers in 3 partnering countries said in 3 partnering
countries tells much about the lack of complex solutions for the burnout symptoms what adults usually
ignore due to overburden of duties or do not relate with all the factors defined by WHO.
We forseen a handful of results to be reached and visible after the project implementation and within
the dissemination proces with a help of ouractivities: Knowledge – burnout roots
and possibilities of professional diagnosis – methods of stress and tension relief – assertiveness
strenghtening methods – about rights of the employee and potential strategies of reaction to mobbing
– deconstruction of the prejudices towards psychotherapy Skills – soft skills: negotations, creative
thinking – methods of relaxation – elements of yoga and spine exercises – design thinking for better
planning of the internal projects in private and professional life – how to explore, define and follow
clue values and prioritiies – mindfulness methods and how to put them into practice – basic dietery
recomendations Awareness – how mental health is connected with physical health – how apathy and
stress can evolve into depression – what are the clinical symptoms of depression During the project
we expect: – opening for discussions and creating new solutions – creating of the ,,support group” –
