Project Summary

Employment in the ICT and Content sector in 2019 has grown 7.3% to 533,000 professionals in Spain. Analyzing the data from a gender perspective, 35% of workers in this sector are women and 65% men, and female directors represent a bleak 6% compared to 94% men (ONTSI Annual Report 2019).
New job opportunities that companies cannot cover due to the “skill mismatch”, that is, the difference between the skills required by companies and those available in the market. Acquiring the necessary skills thus becomes a fundamental task in order to successfully face the challenges of the future. And for a woman, reading the data, the challenge is even greater.
The current period of global confinement due to the Covid-19 virus indicates that smart work will be more present in our day to day and if we do not act quickly we run the risk that a large part of the population (disadvantaged groups, over 45 years of age, women, people with disabilities) fall further apart from the European socio-economic fabric.
The Error 404 project partnership wants to make a concrete contribution in this regard, using its experience in adult education and training to offer an innovative proposal with a European dimension.
We want to bring women closer to the ICT sector by creating a Bootcamp (intensive course) where we will include tools for creating a website with WordPress, inbound marketing techniques, cybersecurity, mindfulness, crowdfunding, copywriting, digital publishing and creativity to create the future webcoah. and ICT entrepreneur. We also want to create a skills manual for the female entrepreneur in ICTs (SMART BUSINESS WOMAN), aimed at trainers and educators so that they can get the tools and methodologies to promote the participation of women in the digital industry. We will create 5 Hubs (in each partner’s headquarters there will be 1) where women will be able to meet digital tools in person and learn how to use them thanks to the use of non-formal education methodologies. In the Hub we will organize 7-day acceleration programs so that, once they have acquired the necessary knowledge, the target groups can carry out their business project idea and make it a reality
The objectives of the project are:
-Promote the motivation and development of new interests in women at risk of social exclusion (economic, geographic, refugee difficulties, first target group) through the use of new technologies
-To promote the active participation of these target groups in the construction of skills, knowledge and competences
-Promote a conscious and correct use of new technologies.
-Use better digital content, as well as tools and methodologies,
-Provide adult training centers with a gender perspective that allows them to seek opportunities for a more egalitarian sector.

At the quantitative level we aim to achieve:
-Involve at least 250 adult students to participate in the Bootcamp -At least 100 adult trainers and educators during the project and more than 100 once it is finished, so that they can benefit from the methodologies and skills manual
-At least 100 women belonging to disadvantaged groups involved in the Hubs in person and 100 online
-At least 20 refugee women involved in the Bootcamp and participating in the Hub
-At least 50 public and / or private organizations that will participate indirectly in the project
-At least 10 women and / or trainers who will get an employment and / or internship opportunity during or after the project ends, thanks to the learning received.
-At least 50% of the total participants must come from disadvantaged groups (economic difficulties, residence in rural areas, refugees)
-Increase of 20% of the number of students in activities organized locally by the project partners.
For the participants, the project will allow them to live an innovative training experience that will meet their personal and professional needs, obtaining high-quality learning results, thanks to the use of new technologies for the application of digital marketing.
For the trainers, they will see their ability to organize a creative and innovative training activity improve, also aimed at disadvantaged groups, increasing their responsibility, their capacity for initiative and empathy with the students.
The organizations will be able to implement work methodologies that may involve more participants, increasing the consideration of local communities towards the training offer offered;
