Project Summary
The CREAHLANDS project aims to design, recognize and validate a new training itinerary for a new professional profile of “Specialist Technician in Creative Management of Heritage and Rural Landscape” through the implementation of a non-regulated teaching / learning training strategy (MOOC) that addresses the development of the competencies necessary to meet the challenge of creative management of the heritage and cultural landscape in rural areas in the medium and long term.
The recommendations of the European Institutions and the European Landscape Convention (2000) entrust to promote the management and protection of European heritage and landscapes, to take actions to recognize their value and importance and to take part in public decisions regarding their management and protection of the local community.
The introduction of heritage and rural landscapes into the education, training of experts and technicians and raising awareness of the population and public participation in relation to the collective values of the territory and cultural heritage, represents an opportunity for better management of the territory more integrated and with greater social participation. CREAHLANDS will not only face the deficiencies and inadequacies of current qualifications in this area, but it will also make visible the social and educational value of European Cultural Heritage as an instrument for job creation in rural areas.
For this reason, CREAHLANDS has the specific objectives:
1.To strengthen links between non-formal education and innovation by establishing a European cooperation network between universities / training centres, public administrations and the rural community;
2.To analyse good practices and experiences in the management of Cultural Heritage and rural landscape (emerging museology, orange tourism, etc.) and identify new opportunities for sustainable territorial development in the postcovid era;
3.To develop a good quality interdisciplinary training and education approach, from a participatory, transversal, dynamic and integrative approach that takes into account the socioeconomic factors of each rural landscape;
4.To bring the reality of the university closer to the rural community in the field of Cultural Heritage management and the rural landscape, facilitating the use, application and exploitation of knowledge and capabilities in R&D outside the academic field;
5.To establish smart, participatory and inclusive specialization guidelines for adult non-formal education and training in the EU, in order to enhance the value of Cultural Heritage and increase resilience for sustainable development in rural Europe.
To achieve these objectives, we have designed the CREAHLANDS project, structuring it into 6 Working Groups (WG):
GT1: COORDINATION AND MANAGEMENT.
GT2: DISSEMINATION AND EXPLOITATION OF RESULTS.
GT3: EUROPEAN OBSERVATORY FOR SMART SPECIALIZATION IN CREATIVE MANAGEMENT OF THE RURAL HERITAGE AND LANDSCAPE. GT4: PROGRAM AND TRAINING PROFILE DEVELOPMENT
GT5: PROFESSIONAL ONLINE NETWORK OF TRAINING AND KNOWLEDGE EXCHANGE BETWEEN PEERS. GT6: LOCAL COMMUNITY FOR THE SOCIO-ENVIRONMENTAL DIALOGUE.
The activities contemplated in each of these phases of the project will follow a collaborative methodology for the development of deliverables and intellectual products. In this way, the different participating organizations will contribute, based on their experience and profile, to train professionals for proactive and participatory management with the ability to mediate between private and public resources and the rural community in a process of empowerment of the different actors in the field of Cultural Heritage and European rural landscape.
For the selection of said partnership, the necessary profiles were taken into account based on the objectives and access to the final recipients:
-Technicians and managers of Cultural Heritage, cultural management and tourism, facilitators and socio-cultural monitors, experts linked to tourism, cultural management and heritage;
-Students, graduates and professionals in need for proper vocational retraining,
-Associations and companies linked to cultural and creative tourism, professional associations, local and / or rural development associations;
