Project Summary

Supporting creativity – in particular, youth creativity – is an investment, an opportunity to think about work and new professions, giving space to the desire of artists and cultural operators to be an active part of a community and in search of a social and cultural identity .In this direction, this project intends to act to respond to the ever growing need to orient and enhance the skills, attitudes and knowledge of young people – creatives and operators in the sector – recognizing the regenerative value of culture for the development, transformation and competitiveness of territories.With this in mind, the project pays particular attention to the creation of collaborations with other entities (public, private, associations, individuals, etc.) and adheres to local, national and international networks .
One of the objectives of the project is to provide young people with the tools and skills necessary to find creative and innovative solutions to face unprecedented risks and social challenges due to the COVID19 emergency, as well as to reveal opportunities that can be sought in a critical context. . This project aims to improve the development of skills and competences that strengthen creativity, as well as to promote the quality, innovation and recognition of the work of young artisans and artists entering the world of work, thus contributing to the recovery of the resilience of cultural and creative sectors.
The project aims to support intersectoral cooperation with a focus on creativity, European citizenship and cultural awareness of all citizens; through this action, the project also intends to improve social inclusion through the arts, promoting innovative approaches to participatory and intercultural dialogue that connect education and youth training with grassroots organizations in the cultural and creative sector.
The objectives of the CREATIVITY & YOUTH project are focused on the development of entrepreneurial skills and on the promotion of solutions that allow the strengthening of multisectoral cooperation to increase the potential of young entrepreneurs by providing new training / workshop and animation / networking services, adapted to the needs of the companies that operate in the field of creative industries.

Specific objectives:
1. Increase entrepreneurial skills.
2. Allow the establishment of collaborations for companies or people interested in starting a creative / artisan business
3. Increase access to information on companies / people involved in creative activities by including these entities in promotional activities
4. Promotion of good practices in the field of cooperation of creative entities with others operating in this sector
5. to increase the knowledge of the institutions of the business environment on the needs and opportunities of the creative sector
6. Strengthen cooperation in three sectors (private, public and non-governmental sector) aimed at supporting entrepreneurship in the creative industries sector.

TARGET GROUP AND IMPACT
The target group of the project are young artisans, artists who are approaching the world of work for the first time and their potential clients.
The project will seen the involvment of:
– 160 young creatives
– at least 8 experts/coaches/youth workers of creative industry and company management
– at least 8 succesfull creative companies
– 4 local public entities that support young people
– 4 european organization that support creative business and young people (ass. partner)
– 200 benefiaries to shared the developed tools by the project
– 100 other stakeholders.

PARTNERSHIP
The project will involve 4 institutions of 4 different European countries.
The partnership is composed by institutions with experience in the development of innovative projects for young people and students and can ensure the quality of the project results.

The expected result of the project is an increase in the level of entrepreneurship of young artisans and artists and an increase in their skills in the field of company management (business plan, marketing).

ACTIVITIES
We intend to create 2 LEARNING OUTPUTS:
LO1. CREATIVE LABORATORIES
LO2. YOUTH & CREATIVITY PLATFORM
The project includes:
– NATIONAL WORKSHOP – BUSINESS INCUBATOR (pre – training/blendend mobility)
– INTERNATIONAL TRAINING ACTIVITY – 1 TRAINING ACTIVITY IN ITALY
-MULTIPLIER EVENTS in each partner country
There will be 5 TRANSNATIONAL MEETINGS.
At the end of the project a FINAL CONFERENCE will be organized in MALTA
