Project Summary

This project will be in line with the European Green Deal postulates focusing especially on topics of circular economy and sustainable solutions. The project Consortium will be taking the topics a step further, transforming opportunities into solutions. Different skills and competencies should be developed and mindsets changed. People no matter their workplace should be prepared to understand the disruptive changes around them.
The circular economy is an enormous challenge for developing and emerging countries, in terms of capabilities to ensure efficient treatment of waste, the responsibility over social behaviours. Moreover, what can be observed across the EU, is the struggle of municipals over waste management, which is no longer the management of municipal waste, but also industrial waste.
The aim of the project: to strengthen the quality of start-uppers, young entrepreneurs and VET providers and enhance their professional development through improving environmental change competences as well as give them opportunity to validate these competences and adapt VET provision. In “European employment strategy” strong support for entrepreneurs and the self-employed is given through jobs creation, skills development and giving the opportunity for people to fully participate in society and the economy.
Through this project we want to directly help enterprising, active people to develop their professional competences, and – indirectly – to provide the whole startups sectors with specific knowledge. Experiences with startuppers are commonly analysed not on local or regional level but across countries, because those firms operates in specific, mostly high-tech sectors and their scope of activity is often transitional. That is the first reason, why this project should be done within transnational partnership. The second one is the experience and background of entities involved in the project (related with start-ups support or collaboration with), which have to be joined to get synergy effect.
Output 1 will be led by RARR in terms of coordination of works related to the creation of Curriculum scope.
Output 2 will be led by Danmar in terms of coordination of works related to the creation of functionalities and programming and additional with methodological assistance from the UM.
