Project Summary

Delyramus aims to train adults with and without disabilities in the cultural sector (we have specially designed 4 training modules: 1) Construction of strings ; 2) Construction of instruments and interpretation of organological sources; 3) Interpretation of traditional and contemporary music.

It is an innovative project because in addition to developing new training practices for Adults, it also allows us to contribute to the recovery of European cultural heritage, recovering traditional trades such as lamb strings bulding and “violería” , the construction of ancient music instruments.

Delyramus et Laboramus will continue the work of a consortium that has already collaborated in a previous project co-financed by the Creative Europe Program (Delyramus 2018-2020), reinforcing its objectives, updated by the results obtained and the accumulated experience, increasing its impact and giving a step further to ensure the sustainability of the project.

We now present a project to focus on the development of innovative practices in the field of adult education, whose objectives are:

• Development of new training programs, as well as learning materials and tools. (O2, O3, O4).
• Development of methodologies and pedagogical approaches to learning and teaching for adult students. (O1)
• Development of new forms of learning and teaching for adults, especially a strategic use of open and flexible learning and virtual mobility and open educational resources. (O6)
• Development of tools and methods for professionalization and professional development of teachers and adult education staff. (O1, O2, O3, O4).
• Development of strategic cooperation between adult learning providers, on the one hand, and local or regional authorities, on the other. (O6)
• Development of the practical application and testing of methods of valorization of the knowledge and skills acquired through informal and non-formal learning. (O5)
• Development of training courses to improve the availability and quality of European training courses available to teachers, principals and other members of the staff of adult education centers; (O2, O3, O4.06).

As for the direct participants, on the one hand we have at least 20 trainers and teachers who participate in the training and creation of products for people between 25 and 50 years old. In addition, more than 30 volunteer musicians, half of them professors from different Superior Conservatories and Professionals of Early Music in Spain, who will participate in the Design Thinking process.

At least 20 trainers and teachers interested in training adults in cultural and artisan disciplines will also participate in the training activities.

On the other hand, we have the students who will participate in training activities during the product development process. At least 50 people with low levels of employability, in vulnerable situations who need to improve their skills.

Finally, at least 20 professionals from the music sector who wish to improve their training will participate.
In addition, Delyramus is expected to benefit more than 200 teachers and 1000 adults who will be digitally and physically trained with the consortium trainers through workshops, multiplier events and training activities and more than 150 entities will be in the Delyramus digital network until end of program.

The innovative approach of the project arises from one side of the consortium, formed by 5 entities from 3 different countries and that come from different fields (education, social and cultural). This fact allows Delyramus to develop quality and innovative products using very different learning methodologies but with a common denominator, the objective of training adults, between 25 and 50 years old, with and without disabilities, in the cultural sector.

To achieve the objectives, various actions will be carried out divided into 5 blocks: 1. Project management and implementation; 2. Definition of the pedagogical framework; 3. Development of the Delyramus training program and material (3 modules); 4. Evaluation and validation of quality and 5. Dissemination and exploitation of results.

Delyramus is a project with a history of success that foresees its continuity with more innovative actions every year within the framework of education, training and culture initiatives at European level.
