Project Summary

The European Commission has approved the Digital Education Action Plan (2021/2027) that establishes 3 priorities:
1) To make better use of digital technology for teaching and learning.
2) To develop digital skills and abilities.
3) To improve education through better data analysis and forecasts.

COVID-19 pandemic has caused a boom in digital services at school environment but it has also highlighted the shortcomings of face-to-face educational systems according to guaranteeing equity and inclusion of digital education, which has caused a rebound of school dropout.

The previous analysis carried out by the members of the Association related to this aspect has allowed to identify the following needs:
1.-Students must be provided with digital skills in order to promote their autonomous work.
2.-Teachers must be able to create their own digital training itineraries in order to design digital activities adapted to the type of groups of students.
3.-It is a priority to detect the digital gap among students as soon as possible, describing their training and digital device deficiencies.
4.-Although most of the students are digital natives, aspects related to online security are unknown.

The planned objectives are:
1.-Value the importance of digitization in teaching methods favoring inclusion, equity and reducing inequalities.
2.-Elaborate learning activities using digital tools.
3.-Train students and teachers in aspects related to digital security.
4.-Create digital training itineraries for teachers allowing them to put in practice strategies
5.- Prepare a Digitization Plan for schools.

The target groups are:
a) Students
b) Families
c) Faculty

The European added value is evidenced by obtaining global results that would be more difficult to obtain individually, which will allow the Digitalization Plan to be carried out at each school to possess strengths derived from this collaborative work.
2.- COVID-19 has caused every school to deepen the reinforcement of the digital competence of their students and teachers.
3.-All the members of the Association work together for the first time and the Italian partner is the first time that they are part of an Erasmus Project.
4.- In the previous work on this proposal, strengths specific to each center have been identified that may be shared with the rest of the Association.

Before the start of the project, it is planned to carry out a diagnostic evaluation, an Etwinning event, the celebration of Safer Internet Day and joint work between students.

It is planned to hold 4 meetings with the following topics:
A) Meeting nº 1: “Internet: a safe place to learn”
It allows to achieve objectives 3 and 5 and the expected result 4.

B) Meeting nº 2 “Digital tools: different ways of approaching the knowledge”
It allows to achieve the objectives 1, 2, 3 and 4 and the expected results 1, 2, 3 and 4.

C) Meeting nº 3 “Digital resources: Different ways of deepening knowledge”
It allows to achieve the objectives 1, 2 and 4 and the expected results 1, 2 and 3.

D) Meeting nº 4 “Platforms: a place to host knowledge”
It allows to achieve the objectives 2 and 4 and the expected results 2 and 3.

All the activities planned in the project will allow the following expected results to be achieved at the end of the project:
A) Preparation of 4 learning units
They will be made up of the activities carried out after each of the meetings.

B) Ability to solve problems of a digital nature.
Carrying out all the activities designed in this project from such diverse digital perspectives will allow the training of competent digital citizens in order to reduce the digital divide and promote inclusion.

C) Preparation of a Digitization Plan.
Thanks to carrying out the planned activities, the schools will be provided with a very valuable experience to develop their own Digitization Plan.

C) Promotion of digital competence
Everything described above will allow a substantial improvement in digital competence in the Association’s schools.
