Project Summary

Common problems of the globalizing world are the problems due to climate change, the reduction of potable water resources and usable agricultural areas, and the lack of sustainable energy resources.
Our goal is to create environmental awareness and awareness in all individuals from the age group of our target audience.
Today, industrialization, the development of technology, the increase in the human population has brought with it many problems. And the steps that need to be taken to solve this problem are the common problem that all the countries of the World need to work together. To solve this problem, we
started with our common problems with our partners.
Considering the pluses and shortcomings of each school, we have identified a road map that will start from the local to the general.
According to the surveys.
We make (household waste, electronic waste..)we have found that it cannot be adapted to our daily life. From here, each partner
Will organize a seminar on how to recycle these wastes and explain the environmental impact of recycling.Informative posters and brochures will be printed about this issue and each school.
Will distribute them . An animation that all our partners can apply to our target audience will be prepared and shared on virtual platform.
The first event that we will perform with our project partners was planned as the staff training to the coordinator country Latvia. Then, It will be held LTT activities to Romania, Greece, Bulgaria, Turkey and Macedonia, respectively .These activities will enable all partners to communicate with different cultures to realize that respect, cooperation and coexistence which are possible despite cultural and linguistic differences. It will also give each partner a different content related to the project content.
We created our own project “Don’t Waste, Save! The Earth is yours!(ID 190128)”with support of our experience and knowledge which we built up from formerly subscribed projects. We wished to expand and evolve our project into an Erasmus+ project with our partners in this project.Later, we found missing partners for Erasmus+ project from E-twinning and School Education Gateway internet sites. We included the partners which we found into our E-twinning project. Thus, we worked our E-twinning projects with support of all our partners. As participation to activities is essential for our students personal improvement, we decided with our partners to include 4 students to all activities. Our partners was very excited that we managed to realize the activities with Erasmus+ project which we could not enabled with E-twinning project.
Additionally, we are planning to start at least 2 other E-twinning projects with our partners after we finalize our project “Don’t Waste, Save! The Earth is yours!”. A goal of these projects is to deliver information, skills, documents and visual materials which we learnt during Erasmus+ project to other schools in an understandable way. In order to have a sustainable project, we are willing to reach more students and teachers.Project timeline is limited to 2 years but our aim is to reach as many people as we can and to create a living project even after 2 years.
Project coordinator school will establish a communication link between partners, provide necessary guidance, organize meetings and make overall planning of the project.Responsibilities will be distributed equally considering subjects where partners are the best in order to minimize risks.Ownership of tasks will be defined by an agreement between the partners.
Every partner will constitute a three-person committee in their schools so that all participants are impartially to be chosen. The coordinator school will prepare a template form so that the selection of the teachers and the students who are suitable for the project mobility is to be done. They will share the form with the other partners through e-mail. Prepared by all partners, the survey of the election committee will be edited according to the cultural structures of their countries and schools, and be applied to the ones who want to be a participant. Every committee will assign the highest-scoring 2 teachers and 4 students as the participants. As precaution against the hitches which may occur, 1 teacher and 2 students will be assigned as the substitute participants by the point order.
For the dissemination of the activities of the project, activities will be carried out in many areas from local to international.Good practice examples will be explained to school teachers and they will be provided to integrate them into the curriculum. The visuals of the events will be shared on twinSpace every month and it will be ensured by all schools.Erasmus + boards will be held in schools and these boards will be updated by the responsible teacher and student every month. The outputs of the activities of all partners will be shared with the social media accounts, and everyone (individuals / institutions) will benefit from it.
