The SFY – Skills For Youth project aims to develop, implement and transfer good practices in the use of the Fair Play philosophy as a means to educate young people to a correct civic participation, through the creation of opportunities for the increase of youth workers skills through Joint Staff Training Events. The objective is to obtain both an effective cross-fertilization and internationalization of the activities of the partner bodies, in order to improve the quality of the socio-educational actions and work of youth workers, and to positively impact on the quality of life of the young participants, reducing the risk of marginalization or negative inclusion in society thanks to innovative methodologies and integrated actions at European level. Specific objectives of the SFY Project: – develop new approaches for informal education and social inclusion of young people; – improve the ability of operators to manage diversity in their targets; – innovate strategies for the management of violence, discrimination and bullying among young people; – increase the quality of the work environment, stimulating the professionalization of youth workers; – promote social innovation and stimulate the activation of the educating community; – improve the ability of organizations to work in international networks. The project will unite different types of organizations in the sector to create a multilevel cooperation lasting 20 months: from 01/06/2019 to 31/01/2021. Main activities: Joint Staff Training Events: three events (PL Sept 19, PT Apr 20, IT Sept 20) aimed at improving the skills of young workers in the use of Fair Play as a means for civic education and for the fight against phenomena of social marginalization. 3 On-site experimental activities: for the creation and testing of a shared methodology for the use of FairPlay in informal youth education (Oct-Nov 19, Jul-Aug 20, Oct-Nov 20) 4 Transnational Project Meetings: meetings for the Project Staff for management, monitoring and evaluation activities, as well as for the definition of the shared methodology and the
