Project Summary
Because all types of information are nowadays very easily accessible via Internet and other modern technologies, it is really easy for the students to look everything up, but none of them are able to work with the information, to give it context or to evaluate the information. This type of work with different kind of information is one of the most necessary skills in modern world.
With this project, we would like to widen our students’ knowledge about the UNESCO cultural and natural heritage. The UNESCO objects can be found in our country as well as in countries of our partners. The students who will take part in this project will gain knowledge about cultural values, and will get to know the significance of the UNESCO natural and cultural heritage. The students will also have a chance to pass this knowledge to other partners, to discuss everything and to gain the information from each other.
The general objective of the project is to maximise the impact of the Erasmus + programme in the field of cultural heritage education and to encourage greater awareness in schools of Europe’s rich cultural heritage in all its forms, throughout visits, encounters with heritage experts and playful educational activities.
Specific objectives are:
O1: The social inclusion of a total of 360 pupils from the 6 partner schools by providing additional innovative educational programs within the project.
O2:To implement quality Teaching and Learning Strategies to maximise learning opportunities for all students and especial for students with ethnic ,migrant and refugee background.
O3:To increase students and teachers awareness of conservation, cultural and natural UNESCO heritage and the need to take care of the environment.
O4:Further improve the students behaviour, self-discipline and reduce the school absenteeism by 40% and dropping out of school by 30% among students in the 6 partner schools.
The project activities will be attended by equal numbers from the six partner schools: students, teachers, principals, parents and local authorities.
The students participating in the project are aged 15-18 years. All students participating in the project study the following common disciplines in the six partner schools:English, history, geography, IT,mathematics, sciences. Thus, they have common preoccupations and are interested in cultural aspects specific to the European community. A total of 120 students will take part in international mobility. Each school will organize activities at the level where students will be the main actors:documentary visits,UNESCO brochure,UNESCO film, UNESCO calendar, etc. A total of 240 students will be involved in the local activities. In developing the project activities, the students will use different information technologies to increase their interest in school (technologies used: kahoot, prezi, piktochart, timetoaster, dotstorming, etc.).
The teachers participating in the project will be teachers of general culture: history, geography, modern languages, mathematics, sciences, arts). They will coordinate the student groups to achieve the pbjectives and project outcomes. At the same time, the teachers will communicate with each other and will exchange ideas and information on innovation activities in teaching- learning process. For the transnational mobility, 60 teachers will take part, and for the local activities we estimate to involve a number of 60 other teachers.
The activities implemented within the project will contribute on raising awareness of the importance of Europe’s cultural heritage through education, lifelong learning, informal and non-formal learning, youth as well as sport, including actions to support skills development, social inclusion, critical thinking and youth engagement.

Proiectul va contribui la incluziunea sociala a participantilor.
The results of this project will be accessible via internet also after terminating of the project. This way we can make sure the results will be available for further usage in lessons (History, Geography, etc.), or that they can possibly be included into school curriculum.
Important success of the Erasmus+ project will also be a contribution to understanding of different cultures, elimination of prejudices, and contribution to prevalence of peace in Europe.
