Project Summary

The main goal of the project is the implementation of innovative and activating methods into learning process and verification of pedagogical approaches or procedures in different European countries and exchange of pedagogical experiences.
We want to introduce and explain the children their rights based on UNESCO declaration through the digital stories about child rights which will be record on the place with historical, cultural or natural importance and pictograms which will show all child rights and increase their national awareness and identity and develop their prosocial behaviour and respect to multicultural differences and prepare them for the life in multicultural society
Project will the partnership among partner schools from Slovakia, Portugal, Italy and Greece.
The students will work in national and international teams and physical mobilities (short – term exchanges of the groups of pupils) will be combined with virtual meetings in Twinspace.
The main outputs will be digital stories about child rights which are chosen according to necessary issue of the school and pictograms which will emphasise in visible way and universal language – through icons the importance of child rights and their keeping.
All digital stories in official project language – English will be free available on project website, school websites, eTwinning and social nets. Pictograms will be placed in school so they will be available for all students, teachers, parents and school visitors. These outputs will be suitable additional teaching material for teaching and implementation of human and child rights into school subjects such as citizenship, history, art, foreign languages etc.
The important goal for project realisation is increasing of students’ digital and language skills and competences, which are key skills and competences for the future education and today’s labour market. They are also important for teachers from lifelong learning point of view.
