Project Summary
This project will be led through a cooperation of four schools from Belgium, Italy, Lithuania and Turkey.
The rationale behind the initiation of this project is to share good practices against gender inequalities in the labour market and in education.
Moreover, the project integrates the development of both English language skills and social skills. The students being 17 to 19 years old will be exposed to an environment where project work and skills such as creativity, communication, collaboration and critical thinking are employed.
During different activities the participating students will establish an exchange of good practices. Students will work in the human resources field, experience peer-learning and have lectures from local entrepreneurs in different countries.
Students will create a digital newsletters to share experiences and information in their own country.
During the flows eight different students from each school will participate in the exchange. The exchanges will be prepared in a digital way before the meetings.
Given the roadmap of the project it is anticipated that social skills will have a massive impact on the development of the students’ life skills and language skills at the same time.
They are expected to be more confident in speaking, problem solving, collaborating, thinking and writing in the target language.
But most importantly, hopefully new ideas can be shared between the countries to focus on gender inequality .
