Project Summary
The project involves establishing cooperation between 3 vocational schools from Poland, Turkey and Romania, a higher school from Bulgaria and a non-governmental organization operating in the area of supporting young farmers from Turkey, to enrich professional education in the field of agrotronics. As part of the project implementation, the following activities will be carried out:
1. Developing at the inter-sectoral and international level a program of classes in the field of precision agriculture using computer aided (compliant with the ECVET system) possible to implement as part of compulsory and supplementary classes in the classes of vocational schools with agrotechnical and related specialties.
2. Creating an international, including vocational / technical schools, colleges, NGOs and enterprises from Poland, Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria, on-line platform, on which descriptions of tools used by partner organizations within education in the field of agrotechnics will be placed. The platform will also be a place for communication and joint solving of emerging problems. The minimum assumed coverage during the project implementation phase is 24 teachers, 4 academic lecturers, 4 NGO employees, 10 enterprises and 10 farmers + 60 teachers in the dissemination phase.
3. Creation of 24 spaces for 24 teachers, 4 academic lecturers and 4 NGO employees to exchange experiences and good practices in the field of agrotechnics with particular emphasis on the subject of precision computer-assisted agriculture, which should contribute to the widening of the range of tools used by youth workers.
4. Implementation of practical training in 3 vocational schools in Poland, Turkey and Romania, extending digital competences of students in the following areas:
* the use of GPS technology in creating maps of soil diversity in the field area, determining the density of sowing density and the dosage of fertilizers;
* carrying out plant protection treatments with machines equipped with a computer and using GPS receivers;
* harvesting using a combine with a yield meter.
5. Raising the competences of 24 teachers of practical training in the agriculture agrotechnics in
the individualisation of didactic methods adapted to the groups in which they belong
young people with fewer opportunities, including:
* young people with reduced intellectual potential;
* youth with mild mental retardation;
* youth from refugee families.
Project target groups:
I Direct participants:
1. 24 teachers of practical training in the profession of agrotechnic and agricultural machinery from Poland,
Turkey and Romania (8 teachers from each school).
2. 4 academic employees of the Faculty of Agriculture and Industry UNIVERSITY OF RUSE ANGEL
KANCHEV from Bulgaria, who will act as experts during the preparation of the curriculum.
3. 4 employees of GENC GIRISIM EGITIM GENCLIK VE SPOR KULÜBÜ DERNEGA supporting
young farmers in starting their careers who will act as experts during
program preparation.
II. Intermediate participants:
1. 10 enterprises from the agricultural and industrial sector from Poland, Turkey, Romania and Bulgaria.
2. 10 farmers – practitioners from Turkey.
3. 68 students from Poland, 71 students from Romania and 74 students from Turkey (213 people in total) who
they will participate in test classes in the field of precision agriculture implemented under
project.
4. 60 vocational school teachers from Poland, Romania and Turkey who will be recipients of activities
disseminating the results of the project.
