Project Summary

Exploring each other Cultural heritage through folk Music and Dance. The partners will establish an International Choir and Dance Group comprising of pupils from all five partner schools. Each participating country will provide the partnership with a song and a dance from their own country to be learned by all pupils in the participating schools. During mobilities the International Choir and Dance Group will perform for the host communities. Costumes and Musical instruments specific to each partner country will also be explored by visiting pupils. Moreover the host country will edit a short portfolio about their traditional food and the folklore of its area. We are planning to edit a book with these datas both native and English language The published book can inbuilt into to local curriculum and used by teachers with different subjects..We are planning five partner meeting during the two years common work. All meeting will be dedicated to a special field of the folk art and the cultural heritage of the countries, like – spring time traditions in each country; – traditional folk games for children; – art and craft works in our county; – folk decoartion, ornament art in our country.
