Project Summary

Music is such an important part of everyday life, and it could be a potential avenue for enriching creativity in education so the students mind’s need to be opened different perspectives. We are aware of the most education at schools are not perfect so we believe they are all the same across the world. We memorize, study for the test and forget, only to know 10 years later what a rote learning world we have been constructing, so with this project all the partcipants will change the style of understanding, open the new windows on their brains, integrate the disciplines in an enjoyable athmosphere.

Most of us are not creative thinkers; telling oneself and the team ‘to be creative’ does not usualy leads results. Some special tecniques are requuired to help us use our brains in a different way -to change our usual thinking process. Creative thinking is imaginative, divergent, generates many possible solutions.

For the new generation we raise in our hands as a teacher, we need to draw some creative ways ,they can learn some useful skills and techniques which will enable them to tap into that creative ‘right brain’ thinking and bring a new perspective to innovation, problem-solving and managing the changes in life so we would like to support the music using with some art tecniques and point out the Orff,Suzuki,Kodaly and Salcroze Methods.

The project focuses mainly on divergent thinking, which involves producing multiple answers from available information by making unexpected combinations, recognizing associations among ideas and transforming information into unexpected forms. Divergent thinking is key to today’s scientific, technological and cultural fields because innovation often pairs disparate ideas.

This project will contribute to integrate creative thinking with critical thinking. Students will look for solutions, make plans for action, express themselves creatively . Students will try out various solutions in order to arrive at a specified result, make out their idea, use imagination, the inner ear to compose musical phase
Students distinguish the limits of musical performance, recognise their own mistakes, learn about music other countries’ music instruments, learning play together.

– We should tell that the team(six partners) has been put together for this project shows a perfect balance between northern and southern European countries. The turkish co-ordinator especially chosed the schools which are the fine art high schools and which are interested in music schools whose students are 14-19 years old.

The organisation and the distribution of tasks during the realising of the project objectives is based on the process of “peer learning and learning by doing: The approaches to education which consists in aimming goals through the interaction of pupils and supporting the students by the teachers. Moreover, through the sharing tasks and giving homeworks or implemeting the duties which will give the opportunity the students to perform tasks within the framework of the project, we would like to motivate the improvement of “open-source learning, applying communicative environment, teamworking ” and ”interactive relation”through which allows students to manage their own learning experience.

By involving different subjects such as music, art, literature, social sciences, geography, drama, the visual arts, we wish to convey as comprehensive view of the education problem as possible.

There will be produced many concrete results; during the project which are written many tasks in timetable, students will :
– will look for solutions, make plans for action, express themselves creatively.
– will try out various solutions in order to arrive at a specified result, make out their idea, use imagination, the inner ear to compose musical phase
– distinguish the limits of musical performance, recognise their own mistakes, learn about music other countries’ music instruments, learning play together.
– will classify the terms that refer to musical concepts by musical literacy.

The tasks will be divided into 6 parts and they will be carried out by the partners:
