Project Summary

“We, the people of the world, are responsible for sharing our knowledge and experiences.” says the physicist and cosmologist Stephen Hawking. This famous saying will be our motto throughout the project. We believe that humans can literally exist if they share what they have. “Better and Stronger by Sharing Together” is a project which emphasizes the importance of common ethic values such as sharing, cooperation, tolerance and helpfulness. Our main goal will be contributing to learning and teaching processes of students and teachers of partner schools by means of the project activities related to the topics at which each partner is qualified. We will create real and sincere environments for students, teachers and other stakeholders of the project where they can feel the joy of real acquisition of necessary knowledge. Students will have many opportunities to acquire new knowledge and gain necessary skills, to show and improve their present skills, to express themselves in different ways, to work with their peers from different countries, to know different people and culture, to take part in the preparation of new, creative, supporting, comfortable and sincere activities and learning environments by means of this project. Contributing to their personal development and self-recognition processes is one of our main targets throughout the project. We plan to take at least 72 students and 24 teachers to the project mobilities. Involving as many students and teachers as possible to the project activities and short term exchanges will also be one of our main goals during the project. More than 6300 students and 900 teachers from 4 partner schools will take part in this project somehow. Some will directly take place in preparation and presentation of project activities, some will host guest students and introduce their country and culture, some will help us with taking photos and recording videos during project activities, some will work for making our project more known among people using social media and sharing photographs, videos, documents, etc. related to the project and some will participate in short term exchanges to partner countries. We want our students to work actively and willingly for the project and take responsibilities related to different tasks. We want them to feel themselves as a real part of this partnership and contribute to it as much as they can. We want them to get benefit of project activities related to English, Literature, Geography, P.E., Tourism Sciences, Economics, Ecology and First Aid as much as possible. Students and teachers will prepare activities related to these topics to be regularly held during two years. They will work with their new friends from partner countries for different tasks and this will make them keep their communication with their peers and use their target language skills. By means of this, they will have a new platform to express themselves and use their language skills for various purposes. We intend to reach a wide range of students with different language and academic skills, with different backgrounds and cultures, with different interests and points of views, etc. and bring them together by means of this project for a common purpose. We also want to reach as many stakeholders as possible to such as parents, students and teachers of other schools, local educational authorities and local press, etc. by involving them to appropriate project activities. Partners will prepare common activities to be held all together and also activities to be held locally related to their project topics. The topics chosen by partners are;

* Peers working and acquiring together by Turkey related to English, Geography and Literature,
* Young people learn from and with each other by Belgium related to Physical Education, English and Literature,
* Shaping Learning Experience by Italy related to Tourism Sciences, P.E., Foreign Languages and Economics and
*More eco-friendly, more intellectual and more caring together by Poland related to Tourism, Ecology, Literature and First Aid.

Guest students and teachers will be applied an expectation questionnaire at the beginning and an evaluation questionnaire at the end of each exchange week. Their responses will be reported and shared with partners and on social media accounts of the project. We will also apply another questionnaire at the beginning of each project year in order to evaluate our development related to our project aims. These results and photographs, videos, reports and documents related to the project will constantly be shared on social media accounts of the project, school websites and other platforms. There will be a continuous communication and equal share of duties among partners during the project. Erasmus+ bulletin boards, corners and streets, exhibitions, video shows, presentations, seminars, etc. will be prepared during the project and a booklet involving all necessary information related to the project at the end.
