Project Summary
Family is the smallest and most crucial element of our society. The family has many functions in society as an institution. The most important of these functions is transferring the values, norms and beliefs of the society to which they belong to their newborn members through education and socialization functions and makes them members of the society. Our motivating point of this project are the family observation and student monitoring form results that we applied for the fragmented family children in our schools. In these forms we observed that these kids have low academic success than the other kids. We formed this project focusing on active teaching methods and techniques for sharing the positive implementations with the coordinationship of Austrian School with the partners from the UK, Italy, Portugal 2 Turkish schools. In these studies, it is thought that in the “extracurricular activities” students play an active role in learning, they learn by doing, they associate the subjects they learn with their environment and they make connections with their social life.
By forming partnerships through Erasmus+ projects we want to combat the low academic failure of fragmented family children in our schools, share common 21st century productive new teaching methods and techniques, develop a common empathy, build a school, family and student collaboration. We are keen on to share the activities planned in our project in order to raise successful and self-confident individuals in line with EU 2020 goals. We want to experience and develop successful strategies out of school activities with colleagues from different cultures. In this way, we plan to pave the way for future employment by raising qualified individuals.
