Project Summary
“See the world with different eyes” is an experimental, transnational youth project with youngsters from the luxembourgish “Jugendhaus Woodstock” in Walferdange and the belgian dancing school “Anne DK” located in Chiny/Florenville. Aim of this youth initiative is to develop and realise juvenile visions and utopias for a better human living together, as well as establishing action reference in the life context of the youngsters. Future relevant topics like equal opportunities, education justice and inclusion are processed and realised from the teenagers in an artistic-creativ way. The youth project unites the different action guidelines “Global think, act locally”, “all different, all equal” as well as “together to the future”. It wants to make the teenager courage to experience himself as acting subjects, who can have the influence on social developments and can be able to con-shape the living together.
The creed of this youth project is: “Don’t wait for the others, but do the first step by your own”.
The experimental youth project is set for a period of 8 months and contains regular dance training and common theme-orientated workshops.
Public performances and discussions will represent the highlights of this youth intitiative.
30 Youngsters will take part on this project.
