The project concerned the students develop competence in the field of science and natural sciences.
The materials presented jointly show the diversity of forms of nature conservation and the state of the natural environment in two distinct regions of Europe. Bitterfeld region, which is the area after the chemical industry and after the exploitation of lignite, and the Włoszczowa region surrounded by green areas under the protected landscape with an important climate function for the central part of the Świętokrzyskie province.

The main objectives of this project were:
– implementation of young people to plan and conduct field studies using experimental methods and tools of scientific knowledge,
– promote proper environmental attitudes among youth in relation to the region,
– development of teaching resources for teaching interdisciplinary approaches.

The project involved two groups of thirty young people and six carers from each of the countries.
