Project Summary

The main aim of project activities was preparing GOPR to introduce modern textbook for mountains rescuers, which content will be accessible on e-learning platform. In addition the aim was an integration of rescuers community from Poland ,Germany and Austria.
First of all it was very important to integrate persons responsible for training courses and exchange experience and knowledge. For polish partner the most important thing was material standardization and initiation of changing attitude process in relation to training courses methodology. It require appointment editorial team responsible for every part of mountain rescuers’ knowledge. We initiated actions of organizational matters and substantive issues. There are three project partners: Bergrettung Tirol, Bergwacht Bertchesgaden, AGH Kraków- as a technical contractor of e-learning platform.
The first period of project realization we appointed two teams. One was called editorial and prepared analyzes on status and scope of training. They also supervised quality of teaching aids on e-learning platform. Very important partner,AGH Kraków helped to create revelant tools for e-learning program realization. We appointed an administrator responsible for organizational matters, contact with FSRE and project partners. Financial issue entrusted accountant.
We signed agreement of project realization joint with project partners. The beneficiary signed separate agreement about strategic cooperation with AGH Kraków. With all authors of training courses signed agreement, in case of graphic artist we choose external entity according to applicable provisions.
Two main project objectives are achieved. It is internal preparation of organization to implement e-learning platform and making training process international.
We prepared 12 training courses including every issue of mountain rescue. It is made on 3 levels: basic, advanced and expert. There are available also tests. The materials are supported by graphics, photos and movies.
In time of preparing training materials there were regular consultations with project partners and AGH. At the organization level there were 6 international meetings when progress of project division of tasks, responsibility for training courses were discussed. During 3 courses organized at partners’ area there were practical trainings and sharing knowledge and experience.
Within the framework of the project there were organised 2 conferences: opening and closing the project. This project was also presented on the other professional conferences.
The most important results are: 12 training courses and 4 international courses prepared by project partners included on e-learning platform. The platform is a place of knowledge and give a possibility to communicate with participants of training. The Police, PSP or Mining Rescue are also interested in creating their own platforms.
Long-term benefits: interdisciplinary book for mountain rescuers, uniform and methodical text, international contacts and cooperation.
