Project Summary
The Lycée Professionnel Voltaire – Nîmes, France – and the IPSSAR Angelo Berti – Vérone, Italy – are two vocational public high schools for teenagers and adults. Both provide trainings in the field of hospitality: Cooking, restaurant service, pastry baking and hotel reception.
The project as imagined by these two schools and hopefully financed by Erasmus+, is an exchange of professional experience and cultural knowledge. Pupils of both schools are to share their knowledge with their peers, by sending a small group of them as “ambassadors”, in charge of a mission to study gastronomy and culture of the visited region.
The goal is to better know the heritage of the visited area and share that knowledge with their classmates who also take part in the project.
In order to do that, the involved pupils are to create various productions to present the results of their exchange: cooking recipes made with local products, photo album or short movies of their trip or online game on the general culture of the two European regions.
Participants should gain more independance and self confidance, develop their personal as well as the professional skills. Both schools enhance the quality of the training they offer.
