Project Summary
With this project we would like to strengthen the second languages Italian and German. After nine years of successful collaboration in a school partnership the communication skills of the students will be at the centre of this project. This is based on three pillars: the preparation of the exchange via etwinning, the use of cooperative learning and peer education as well as the stay in host families. Both teachers aim at strengthening their students linguistic and intercultural competences and would like to implement the use of authentic videos in their schol communities. These will be shot before the exchange encounters and will be discussed by the teachers and tested during them. In total 40 students (20 German 20 Italian students) should take part in this project. Apart from the language the students should discover Germany’s and Italy’s cultural heritage together. They should get to know the most important UNESCO World Heritage sites and get to know their own and the foreign culture via this approach.
All of these activities want to install a feeling of European citizenship among the participants. Exchange and collaboration with European partners will be daily taks for our students, so that this project hopes to contribute an European dimension to the vocational formation of the participants.
