Project Summary
6 organisations providing early intervention from Iceland, Hungary, Romania and Slovakia participates in the partnership, which has the aim to promote healthy and effective communication among children with organic immaturity and their parents as well as the experts =BIO-TRIO.
Organic immaturity has numerous forms, e.g. dyslexia, disgraphy, ADHD, autism, which need at school and in community special education, and cause complication in social inclusion. These children need individual therapy and supporting, comforting environment from the beginning.
Members of the partnership cooperate for years, exchange information and knowledge regarding diagnosis and therapy of children. But all of them face the problem, that children and their parents contact doctors, expert only years after they have realised the first symptoms, that something is different with their children, or when they face significant problem at school regarding inclusion or performance.
In case the majority of the parents and experts are aware of the first symptoms of organic immaturity, than they can contact and ask for help.
We will realise communication champagne, tailor made to the needs of each country. In some cases it focuses at the promotion of early intervention implementation in and by central health institutes. In other cases at the information of parents. The champagne also wants to make the people sensitive and aware that they are in most of the cases, not handicapped but a bit different, which is really to be appreciated and can be changed to ‘unfair’ advantage of the child. In case we use it in a clever way he/she will be socially integrated, what is more he/she will be resilient, and a really useful and balanced member of its community. He/she will not face the problem of early school leaving.
On the other hand side it is crucial, that children and parents and experts concerned communicate in an effective, proactive and cooperative manner. To promote this manner we collect and document the best-practices regarding internal and external communication. We also intend to produce innovative practices or good combinations of existing ones.
To successfully realise the exchange of best practises and the communication champagnes, we realise in the frame of this project 2 transnational project meetings and 2 short-term learning activities for staff. One of the 5 days long trainings focus on communication, the other at empathy. Both of them utilise non-formal teaching and learning by doing methods.
Natura Hungarica Foundation, the applicant organisation manages the feasibility and realisation of the activities and indicators as well as provides effective learning scenario.
The results of the project:
– 500 -500 pieces of booklet in 5 languages, reaching 5 * 900= 4500 persons.
– digital booklet in 5 languages, reaching 19 200 persons.
– 1 in each country; 4 dissemination events reaching 120.180 persons,
– Collection of good-practices, which is free to download to public.
Intangible results of the project:
– partners cooperate more tightly professionally, so they build a think -tank, that smoothens their local and international work in the,
– multiplier effect will be reached in other institutes and organisations,
– participants acquire significant knowledge regarding internal and external communication and project management, which will positively influence any field of their operation,
– during the meetings and the learning activities the participants go through an effective learning process in a multicultural environment. This will provoke their openness, tolerance, pro-activity, which will change their personality and their direct in direct environment both in private life and at work,
– we create an open FB group, which will serve as international knowledge base, since articles, posts, publications from all over the world will be posted on the timeline in the topic of early intervention and organic immaturity.
The results and the sustainability of the activities are ensured by the followings:
– Thanks to the intensive champagne more children will demand their services.
– The level of their services will improve, so professional activity is coupled with effective supporting and communication environment.
– International partnership brings such reputation, which will enable smooth communication with the representatives of central health institute and the media. So they will represent the interest of early intervention and these organisations on their platforms.
– We publish the contents on e-Twinning.
– During the cooperation common interest and innovative project ideas will emerge, which will be more easier to realise based on the knowledge, experience and mindset acquired in this project.
