Project Summary

The objectives of the Mental Vital project are to professionalize memory training in adult education and to identify and optimize methods and models that have led to success in the past.
To this end, the different project partners want to use their expertise to make the knowledge of high-quality memory training in adult education accessible to a larger number of people and thus strengthen their competences in the field of lifelong learning and professional development.
Within the framework of the project, an online survey was realized among providers, memory trainers and participants of memory training groups. The results were statistically evaluated in order to develop an optimal memory training offering. The results of the survey were discussed in transnational meetings with trainers and stakeholders and finally published in a brochure.
For further dissemination of our results additional translations of the brochure in German and French available. These are published on the websites of the countries involved as well as that of the European umbrella organization.
This can help to attract other stakeholders in the field of memory training in other EU-countries for further co-operation with the intention to further develop EU quality standards in the future.
