Project Summary

The European project “REAGIR jeunesse” (European Collaboration between Actors to Generate a Successful Integration of Youth) aims at optimizing the social and professional integration of young people benefiting from social and / or educational support. The European project “REAGIR jeunesse” has three partner organizations from three different European countries: Romania, Portugal and France. It aims at developing and putting together innovative practices and tools for the successful integration of young people.

It is based on:
– a common reflection between multidisciplinary professionals (staff and volunteers) working for the social and educational support of youth (be it individually or in groups),
– the exchange of experience and good practice,
– the sharing of existing tools.

It answers to the need to improve the actions of youth support towards integration and success of the beneficiaries, as well as optimizing the costs of these actions by:
– sharing human and material resources, knowledge and skills;
– optimizing their cross-sector transferability;
– enhancing a stronger and more regular involvement and of volunteers.

The project, planned for a 20 months duration (April 2018 to October 2019), is aimed at social and professional integration of stakeholders, whether they are staff or volunteers working within the structures and in very different environments (depending on their countries specificity).

It includes:
– Coordination meetings : coordination and monitoring of the project is included during the transnational meetings;
– Short term training : short-term joint training will provide the opportunity for an exchange of know-how for staff in order to guide young people towards social and professional integration in accordance with their environment. This includes the demonstration and use of existing tools;
– Mixed mobility of young people: young beneficiaires will be participating in a community volunteering project/site;
– Dissemination events: communication around the REAGIR Jeunesse project and around the ERASMUS + Jeunesse program and dissemination of the reflections carried out around the implementation and formalization of the individual social support of young people in an integration situation; of the intellectual productions of the project;
– a closing meeting of the project.

The aim of this project is the creation of two intellectual productions:
– a “Passport for Successful Insertion”, an Individual Social Support Protocol (PIA): an individual social and educational support tool for a better understanding of the steps towards social inclusion by the young person – where she/he is placed at the center of this protocol and therefore gets more involved.
– “FreshBook of collective approaches in social support towards integration”, booklet of collective actions to support integration: offering a global framework of needs in terms of social support as well as different types of collective actions responding to individual needs defined around a social axis (access to qualifications and employment, health, housing, etc.), and paths favoring and facilitating the cross-fertilizing between various trades of social work (educator, trainer , Social worker, etc.) and between all actors (staff and / or volunteers).
