Project Summary

The key aim of the project is to provide a way for active development of human capital, practical encouragement of social entrepreneurial activities and establishment of effective pathways to youth employment in strategic cooperation with different stakeholders.The project will consist from capacity building activities (debates, info days, pitch nights crowd-funding campaign) and mobility activities (series of four training courses). Through implementation of the activities we aim to tackle various aspects of social entrepreneurship and develop competencies of all involved actors to effectively fight youth unemployment. The activities will be based on variety of methods and techniques of non-formal education and they will support active role of the participants in the project activities. The activities will tackle themes such funding, co-funding, legislative framework of social entrepreneurship, role of youth strategies in the process of creating supportive entrepreneurial environment. Besides developing capacities of the participants the project also aims to especially support creating cross-sectoral cooperation that is being consider by the partners of this project to be one of the key element in the process of creating support entrepreneurship environment in participant’s countries. The cross-sectorial cooperation will be supported for example through implementing pitch night giving young people an opportunity to present their ideas in front of business sector. The project will bring several key results one of them will be ‘Guide on Co-funding Lobbying’ that will contain lessons learned through project and practical tips that can be applied by different stakeholders in the communities. The guide will be published online but also each participating organization will realize one activity in form of presentation, discussion, debate where the guide and conclusions from the project will be presented. Other result of the project will be crowdfunding campaign created during one of the mobility activities. The campaigns will be source of co-funding for the project activities planned to be implemented in dissemination period and it will be also a way of raising awareness on social entrepreneurship across participant’s countries. Project will be implemented in period from 1.7.2017 to 30.9. 2018 (15 months) and it will include partners coming from following countries: Macedonia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Greece, Romania, Portugal, Costa Rica, South Africa, Peru.
