Horizontal priority: development of relevant and high-quality skills and competences, sectoral priority: promoting the acquisition of skill and key competences.
The main area of life skills which we included in the project was equipping students with necessary skills and the knowledge of:
– Coping with stress
– Healthy nutrition
– Being safe on the Internet
– Avoiding Internet and computer games addiction
– Being creative
– Well-being
– Being kind and respectful to everyone despite their cultural differences, developing right social behaviour.
The teachers engaged in the project shared good practises and innovative teaching and learning methods in the area of life skills.
All the students participating in the project developed key competences mirrored in life skills and they are prepared for self-sufficient adulthood.

Target group:
Students from partner schools who were interested in developing their life skills as well as teachers who cared about their professional development, gaining new skills, sharing good practises and learning from their foreign colleagues.
There were four students aged 13/14-18 from each partner country taking part in every mobility. They were students with good knowledge of German, students from families with low socio-economic status, students commuting to school and students with various learning difficulties.

Project activities:
1) Information about the project on partners’ internet websites and in the local media, recruitment process, verifying the ideas and selecting participants for each mobility.
2) Creating the international project logo – each school conducted a competition for their own logo and after that there was an international competition between partner schools. The winner was the lpgo from the school in Slovenia.
3) Creating and publishing information on partners’ internet websites and in local media after each activity, writing articles for the local press and project pamphlet.
4) Evaluation in the middle of the project was made by the partners via Internet. They worked together on the progress report after the first year of the project duration
5) Final evaluation of the project was made by the partners via Internet, they prepared the final report together.

Learning/teaching/training events, trainings and methodology:
1) Short-term students’ exchange – mobility in Slovenia “ Interpersonal communication and Internet addiction”. Professional workshops with experts as a starting point to the debate as well as educational activities combined with project activities.
2) Short-term students’ exchange – mobility in Italy (Aversa) “The same though different – teaching tolerance through cultural heritage of minorities”. Workshops, interviews and debates, teamwork and multicultural exhibition”.
3) Short-term students’ exchange – mobility in Poland “Discover your creativity”. Workshops, debates, teamwork and exhibition.
4) Short training programmes for teachers – Italy (Bari) “Technology without boundaries – opportunity or threat?”. Lectures, debates, discussions.
5) Short-term students’ exchange – mobility in Italy (Bari) “Healthy Nutrition”. Preparing healthy meal, visiting healthy food producents, interviews, workshops.
6) Short-term students’ exchange – online mobility in Finland “Coping with stress and well-being”. Surveys concerning students’ habits, interviews, discussion. Developing methods and means reducing stress. Relaxation and learning methods.

Results:
Positive behaviour – tolerance, safe use of the Internet, methods of coping with stress, relaxation and learning methods, developing confidence in one’s own life skills, creative thinking methods, healthy nutrition, improving language skills – German.
Students made exhibitions and films on project topics. Teachers made a number of topical lesson plans.
Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemia and the unpredictable epidemic situation in Europe, it was impossible to prepare and carry out the project day.
