Project Summary

The driving force of EU economy is attitude of entrepreneurship of its community. According to “Recommendations of the European Parliament and of the Council of 18.12.2006 on key competences for lifelong learning” enterprise and imitativeness is one of the key competences.

It is therefore important to develop effective programs and tools for the development of these competencies. This is particularly important in the countries of Eastern Europe, in which traditional teaching programs marginalize the topic of entrepreneurship, and teaching models prefer theory over practice and developing active social attitudes.
Therefore, labour market gets unprepared students and pupils who must spend a lot of time to shape their entrepreneurship mindset.

The aim of the project is to improve the quality of entrepreneurial education as a result of:
– developing an educational programme to develop entrepreneurial attitudes of young people,
– improve the competencies of teachers.

Results will be developing based on:
– 248 high school students (96 from Poland and 96 from Lithuania and 96 from Slovakia),
– Approx. 30 teachers from Poland, Lithuania and Slovakia,
– Approx. 50 scientists, technicians, managers and administrative staff.

295 participants will take part in disseminating process:
– 135 in Poland,
– 80 in Lithuania,
– 80 in Slovakia.

The project will be implemented in the following sequence:
Step 1. Development of proposal of new educational solution and methods,
Step 2. Focus researches – verification of proposal (48 students, 24 teachers),
Step 3. Production of prototypes of educational solution and methods,
Step 4. Pilot tests of prototypes and its verification (120 students),
Step 5. Production of results,
Step 6. Pilot implementation of the results and its improvement (120 students),
Step 7. Releasing of final product and its service,
Step 8. Dissemination events of the project results among teachers (340 teachers and influencers) and dissemination to wide public.

The project will use following methods:
– PRINCE2 system to manage the project,
– guidelines of Erasmus Plus re. project implementation,
– guidelines of International Tests Commission – ITC re use of psychometric tests,
– employment and accounting state regulations.

The project is about development of a unique in global scale learning solutions for the activation and development of entrepreneurial attitudes of young people. The project result is ENTERPRISE+ Youth Entrepreneurial Mindset Development Programme together with supplementing educational tools.
The program is aimed in particular at high school students, teachers of entrepreneurship, and other topics, educators, psychologists.

Detailed results of the project:
– handbook for teachers with methodical “step by step” approach,
– handbook for students on self-development of entrepreneurial attitudes and methods of cooperation and team work,
-15 sets of computer based training of entrepreneurial attitudes: adaptability, activity and initiative, autonomy and independence, decisiveness, determination, communicativeness, creativity and innovation, critical thinking, evaluation and risk taking, accountability, openness, scheduled operation, troubleshooting, confidence, cooperation,
– Course-wizzard to create business plans and action plans for business, social, scientific and artistic activities,
– web page that promotes and share the results of the project,
– promotional materials and scientific articles about results of the project.

Impact of the project:
– In Poland most high schools would be influenced, due to involvement of the project key persons from organizations related to the teaching of entrepreneurship as Teachers Association of Business and Economic Education; Organizational Bureau of School Olympic Games in Entrepreneurship,
– In Lithuania on schools with Polish as lecture language,
– In Slovakia on schools with Slovak as lecture language.

Potential long-term benefits of the project are:
– increasing quality of teaching topic of entrepreneurship and mindset of students much better prepared to work in competitive environment,
– more interesting lessons preparing students to become high achievers,
– increasing Partners’ experience in terms of international cooperation, strengthening of their scientific and organizational know-how,
– achieving of high quality, innovative outcomes as consequences of developing and continuation of project focusing on entrepreneurship.
