Project Summary

The project “Entrepreneurship. Practical, innovative, creative” was created thanks to the cooperation of 6 secondary schools from Poland, the Czech Republic, Romania, France, Turkey and Spain. The partnership consisted of 4 technical secondary schools and 2 general education schools. During 2 years we have carried out numerous school, local and international activities aimed at developing entrepreneurial competences among students and teachers, promoting the idea of ​​learning through action and the role of education in the European dimension.
We have achieved the goals:
preparing the student to actively enter the labor market thanks to the knowledge of the local market, e.g. visits and meetings in large and small enterprises, which allowed the participants to understand European and local labor standards, the specificity of the workplace, culture and environment in the labor market, establish cooperation between schools and enterprises, include a practical dimension in teaching entrepreneurship. The important points of the exchange program were the preparation of the Entrepreneurship Fair as a show of acquired organizational, creative, linguistic, social and, above all, entrepreneurial skills.

We expanded the curriculum of schools, focusing on 5 basic contents and including them in the content of the prepared activities:
1. Features of an entrepreneurial student
2. Interpersonal communication
3. Labor market
4. Description of enterprises
5. Assessment of activities.

We have adapted the topics of international meetings to the possibilities of schools and their experiences. They covered the various stages of establishing a company with an emphasis on the development of key competences and based on the priorities of the European Union: Development of appropriate skills and competences at the appropriate level, Supporting the acquisition of skills and competences.
We have implemented the planned mobility of students aged and teachers. Students with disabilities and students with fewer educational opportunities took part in the exchanges and activities.

We focused our project activities on the development of key competences: entrepreneurship, creativity, IT, social, communication and personal. We shaped attitudes and practical skills accompanied by the acquisition of knowledge. We gave the students the field for action, entrusting their creativity, leaving the teachers the role of an adviser and assistant. Students developed critical thinking, problem solving, creative approach to tasks. We entrusted the role of mentors and experts to future employers of students and entrepreneurs in local labor markets.

We have prepared 5 international short-term exchanges of groups of students and teachers, 1 Virtual Mobility and 1 Short-term Joint Staff Training Event. The meeting agendas were based on the use of activating methods: debates, discussions, simulations, exercises, workshops with group work, skill demonstrations, educational projects. We used non-formal education methods preparing collages, comics, and dramatic scenes. We used IT and mobile tools: students worked using the resources of virtual platforms and visual applications as Pawtoon, Pixtoon, Kahoot, Slide. The effect of the activities was the understanding of the process of creating the company by the student. We were guided by the idea contained in the project title that the project participants should understand entrepreneurship in a practical, creative and non-standard way.

Concrete results have emerged:

The resulting materials will be used in entrepreneurship lessons, English, vocational subjects correlated with entrepreneurship, in the classes of interest groups, e.g. European, entrepreneurship, as well as during the organization of European Days, Entrepreneurship Days, open days, and competition shows.
The materials are available on the project website, Erasmus + Project Results Platform, Twinspace, school websites.
We used various dissemination and promotion channels for the project: websites, social media, e-Twinning space, local media (press). Our program activities were promoted by large local events – entrepreneurship fairs and meetings with experts, representatives of cultural and educational institutions and educational authorities in our cities, as well as with parents.

The partnership of 6 schools was based on the exchange of good practices in learning and teaching, cooperation, promotion of the idea of ​​entrepreneurship, the principles of equality, and respect for the rights of the participants.
Schools strengthened the planned dimension of the European strategy of their institutions, their image in the environment, and the quality of teaching.
