Project Summary
All partner schools have or are developing a specific European education concept. Within this concept, educators and students should be given the opportunity to get in touch directly with like-minded people from other European countries and work together with them. This should inspire and motivate everyone for lifelong learning in the European area. This is especially true for foreign language learning.
The theme “Together + for each other = friends” is based on the social necessity of respectful and tolerant interaction between people. The students read suitable children’s books. They talk about it and implement their own thoughts in their own stories, pictures, photos, films, comics, plays and other media products. They also learn how to use digital technology or expand their abilities. They also use Lego and Playmobil as the German school learned in the previous Erasmus+- project. This technique should be passed on. At least one multi-day media project takes place in each participating school. Teachers and students from the partner schools will be able to participate actively.
In order to promote the mutual exchange and togetherness, a story book and a calendar with works of art on the subject will arise.
Teachers and students are given the opportunity to exchange greetings and knowledge and to get in touch with each other.
The European cooperation described in this way presupposes, trains and expands the skills of the teachers and students involved in the use of modern information and media technology.
The project involves 6 partner schools from Germany, Poland, Bulgaria, Greece, Croatia and Turkey. In all schools there is a primary school. In Poland, Bulgaria and Greece also students learn from 5 up to 15 years. All participating schools are interested in improving their teaching quality and educational offerings through the project. They want to give students the opportunity to learn and to live in an international environment.
Project activities include project meetings and short-term student and teacher exchanges in the form of participation in individual media projects. The exchange of new innovative teaching methods and concepts takes place in the common blog and via TwinSpace. The students and classes exchange greetings on special occasions and come in direct or indirect contact. They will get to know each other and also the partner countries better.
