Project Summary

The AMPLIFY project lasted 32 months, from November 2018 till June 2021 and it involved partners from Italy, Sweden, Poland and Malta. The project consisted of 8 international meetings in which each partner shared with the others their tool or methodology in order to realize the aim of preventing violence and promoting democratic values, fundamental rights, intercultural understanding and active citizenship. These best practices were: Festival Meet Me Halfway (Italy); Creative Drama (Sweden); Human Library (Poland); Music (Malta). After 3 days of training of trainers, each partner tried to implement a pilot activity in its own country, adapting the best practice, tool or methodology learned to its targets, society and territory needs.

As for the project outcomes, apart from the sharing of the best practices and the implementation of piloting activities, AMPLIFY produced a booklet that gathered all the best practices, memos and recommendations, collected during the ToTs. The project results were shared within each organisation through its relevant social media online platforms and website.

AMPLIFY had an impact at local and European level by developing links between different stakeholders; improving the curriculum of the organizations operating in the social field and giving them a tool to address the focused sensitive issues with a professional approach, tailored made for the target, specifically designed for its needs. Moreover, it extended the potential audience of the social workers involved in the project, by improving their experience background. Thus, contributed to the objective of the better preparation and deployment of the education and training of professionals for equity, diversity and inclusion challenges in the learning environment, which we hope will lead to more inclusive societies.
