Project Summary

VolunTube World is the second edition of the VolunTube movement (www.voluntube.org) which pursues the objective of providing organisations working with volunteers more visibility, while at the same time providing young people the opportunity to learn about video-making.Partner organizations will be supported in the implementation of projects using ITC technologies within their organizations and 16 EVS, together with the Communication Officer of each partner will receive training on audiovisual skills before Volunteering two months in one of the partner organisations to direct and edit video content about their activities, beneficiaries and the culture of their country.For the second edition of the project 4 new partners have been involved and a new continent, Latin America, has been added. In addition, through Voluntube World, the intention is to develop training modules for youth organisations and volunteers to learn about video-making and provide them the opportunity to use the voluntube.org website and and YouTube channel to provide visibility to their organisations and volunteer experiences. For this purpose a 12 day dissemination workshop open to anyone wishing to participate will take place in Lastours, France in May 2018.The partners in this project are:P1: IDC, FranceP2: Quinta das Relvas, PortugalP3: Associazione Kora, ItalyP4: N.P.O ANAZITITES THEATROU, GreeceP5: CYA, CambodiaP6: GREAT, IndonesiaP7: Corporación Proyectando Imaginarios, Colombia P8: Brigada de Voluntarios Bolivarianos del Peru, PeruThe main activities of the project are:- Online kick-off meetings- EVS Volunteer Selection;- Intellectual Output: Development of Training Modules;- Training on communication and video editing for EVS Volunteers and Communication Officers; – Volunteer Preparation Phase in Sending Organisation;- Dissemination Workshops for Training Modules in each partner country- Volunteering Activity about Video-making- Study Visits- Evaluation Seminar- Monitoring and Reporting
