Project Summary

Context/Background of the Project
Increasing ecological problems that affect the whole world from top to toe unfortunately have been faced dramatically by inhabitants of the Earth, that no one can compensate for the unexpected and unforeseen impacts. That environmental pollution recognized globally destroys and gobbles up what is left till the end.
Some parts of the ecological problems originate from the mass tourism by misusing the belongings of the environment and damaging the natural sources. Eco-tourism is the best way to protect the unique ecological features of regions. Eco-tourism activities create opportunities more than just learning about various touristic locations.
Objectives
The objectives of the MobEco project, which deals with promoting sustainable, ecology friendly touristic activities, are to raise the awareness of students on environmental issues by making them work actively, to search for the new ways to protect the natural sources, we have in our region, to collect information, exchange knowledge and transfer the experiences about eco-tourism, to show people the importance of eco-touristic activities and making them more conscious about keeping their environment safe, to introduce the eco-touristic values of partner countries to each other and so popularize eco-tourism.
Number and type/profile of participants
Participants of the Mobeco Project are actively working students and teachers who are members of Mobeco committees, around 20-100 people in each partner school, the students, chosen as target group, around 150-300 students in each partner school, the whole school Members around 500-1500 people in each partner school, the local people and the local decision-makers and all people related to and interested in the words; environment, sustainable energy, eco-Tourism, protecting flora and fauna at national or international level.

Some of the partners renovated recycling system of their schools. Many local campaigns about recycling wastes, collecting and storing hazardous wastes have been organised and attended.
Dissemination Results of Projects
To disseminate all the activities done by schools, we conducted various dissemination activities and used platforms such as; online dissemination platforms, local and national wide online news, visiting, informing and cooperating local authorities, NGOs and other stakeholders, attending and organising fests, contests, conferences and presentations, local press articles, numerous meetings, classes, seminars and conferences.
And also many dissemination materials like videos, online leaflets, booklets, letterheads, t-shirts, dossiers, usb sticks, agendas, flyers, CDs, eco-friendly pens, school bags roll ups, banners, eco-friendly bags, school panels, photo albums and badges were designed, produced, published, used and delivered.
