Project Summary

The project was aimed at getting to know each other the models of parental participation in the educational systems of European countries and thus to improve the education of parents and to support them in educational activities.
The strategic partnership has focused on increasing the educational offer for parents in participating countries: Spain, Turkey, Italy and Poland. The duration of the project was 2 years. The strategic partnership adopted the character of the flexible working methods of partner organizations. The project was attended by selected Erasmus + program partners: active adult education, association, foundation, educational and cultural institutions.
The project was based on an analysis of real and relevant needs, on existing knowledge and practice.
Three specific objectives have been defined and achieved taking into account the experience of the partnership:
1). Develop the competence of adult educators in order to achieve the right course of action to achieve greater reach and better learning outcomes. 2). Improve and expand the range of high quality learning opportunities tailored to the needs of parents through innovative forms of contact and classroom learning. 3). Promoting the position, participation and activity of parents in social and cultural learning for personal development and self-fulfillment.
The detailed objectives were realistic and addressed the issues relevant to each partner and target group. Design activities have been tailored to identified needs and targeted to the achievement of specific objectives. The project has benefited significantly from the participants, participating organizations, target groups, stakeholders. The impact of the project on participants was: the extension of competence in “adult eduacation” – the specificity of parental education, the increase of intercultural competences, the extension of vocabulary, the increase of professional satisfaction. Impact of the project on participating organizations: – Improving the quality of work based on European standards, mutual learning, transfer of good practice examples – Increasing the number of participants in educational events related to parent involvement – Improving partnerships – Preparing to implement innovative solutions – giving the character of European statutory activities undertaken by organizations.
The impact of the project on target groups: – reinforcing the motivation of parents to participate in the lifelong learning process, – supporting the overcoming of barriers, – encouraging parents to continue training, participation in the lifelong learning process, – intellectual, mental,
– expanding knowledge and acquiring new skills.
The “PI” project has had a significant impact on each level of impact: at local, regional, national and European levels. The project will influence the development of partner regions through promotion, information, valorisation and dissemination of results. Various types of dissemination activities have been carried out. The partners have used creative and innovative thinking to make best use of the results of the project. The sustainability of the project results is the ability to continue the project and use its results after the end of the funding period. The results of the project will be used and used in the long term by incorporating into daily activities. Dissemination and exploitation of results is a process that goes beyond the duration of the project and will continue in the future.
