Project Summary
Project Youth and EU (YouEU) will be hosted by Centar savremene politike (Center of contemporary policy) in Belgrade, Serbia, from 30/01/2016 until 06/02/2016 and will involve 35 youth workers, young leaders, trainers and support staff from 10 countries of EU and Western Balkans: Serbia, Albania, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Italy, Macedonia, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey. Project include only mobility activity but objectives will be achieved also during preparation of mobility activity, communication among partnership, follow up, dissemination, visibility, evaluation and other activities that will be done throughout the project.
Main aim of the project is to rise capacities of involved organisation implement activities aiming to promote EU awareness, European citizenship and active participation of youth and other citizens in decision making process in Europe. Therefore project have this objectives:
– To educate youth workers from involved organisation about decision making process in EU, European values and forms of active participation of citizens on different levels in Europe
– To provide involved organisations with partnership possibilities and ideas for implementation of local and international projects aiming to rise EU awareness, promote CU citizenship and active participation
– To debate European integration and enlargement of EU from perspective of young people in EU and EU candidate countries and provide knowledge about that to youth workers which will work on debating same topics with their target groups
– To educated staff of involved organisations about methods, tools and benefits of active European citizens education
– To provide follow up activities, project ideas and strengthen partnership among involved organisations and other youth organisations working in same field in Europe
Different methods will be used during the activity such as: brainstorming, work in small groups, simulations, role play, debates, discussions, presentations, etc.
