Project Summary

We apply in an effort to further and develop the existing cooporation between H.C. Ørsted Gymnasiet (TEC) and Lycée Jean Moulin in Beziers.
Our project will evolve around common goals. Creating opportunities for students form none-academic homes with the purpose to engage them in a cross-national exchange of collaboration in the field of technology, innovation, global citizenship and green tech. Exchange of knowledge, experience and cultures of learning within our respective teaching staffs. We expect our students to work on common projects imitating the work-processes in collaborative engineering to prepare them for studies and a work-life beyond cultures and notional borders. This process also inquires a focus on online/ digitalized collaboration and project based problem-solving.
The collaboration between our schools, teaching-staffs and students has evolved through the last XXX years and the benefits and focus-points of our cooperation are clear. Working with green-tech in different geographic environments and political contexts furthers our mutual learning-objectives and expand the possibilities of improving the innovational skills of our students. The integration of local companies and universities have proven to be beneficial as both a visualization of cultural differences and a common ground for identification and innovative approaches in clean tech / green tech problem-solving.
The participating of Danish students will be chosen through written applications to the school-administration. The participating French students are all part of a special line of study focused on technology. Both schools are specialized in technology and many of our students have career aspirations pointing towards engineering-, IT- and/or science-studies. Foreseeing a future working in these contexts we emphasize the importance of international collaboration and are steadily trying to prepare our pupils for a possible work-life in another EU-country.
We very much hope that you will consider our application to further the collaboration between H.C. Ørsted Gymnasiet (TEC), Copenhagen and the Lycée Jean Moulin in Beziers.
