Project Summary
HERE Discover International Treasure And Survive Project – HEREDITAS. Its name indicates the fact that cultural heritage needs to be discovered and retained for future generations later on. Hereditas project is closely linked to cultural heritage, specifically at the local and national level of the partner countries from Slovakia, the Czech Republic, Spain, Greece, Croatia, Germany. There prevail strong points of patriotism but the knowledge of partner countries culture as well. The project is based on the gradual discovery through Educational Paths – mobilities in each of the partner country C2-C6 with the exception of C7 which is quite specific in this project as the virtual mobility. Not only is the project rich in the context, it also illustrates the cultural heritage o partner countries in the individual fields of study – literature – national tales, music – folk music, national costumes, crafts, recipes of the national cuisines, architecture – architectural gems. The project work and endeavour results in HEREDITAS publication in the language variations with the corresponding project website and the project YouTube channel too with the consistent name HEREDITAS from Latin – heritage. Not only is the partnership geographically diverse but when it comes to experience with the Erasmus+ programme is rich and varied. Speaking of the most experienced partners – Slovakia – the coordinator and the Czech Republic, through the partner – Spain with partial experience with KA1 to newcomers into Erasmus+ programme Greece, Germany, Croatia. This partnership is strong, enriching with their acquired experience and common contributing project work on activities, outcomes. Hereditas publication is a sustainable project outcome not only from the perspective of the cultural heritage context and national language variations of a partnership but is complemented by online educational resources with QR codes, more on Hereditas website. Hereditas publication is teaching and educational aid applicable in any educational process in any EU country with language variations – English, Slovak, Czech, Greek, Spanish, Croatian, German and will be a constantly sustainable source outside the partnership. Not to mention the fact that the project website is another relevant project outcome enriched by students blogs, artwork and Hereditas publications as well. Project outcomes have been created by using IT technologies and tools such as Kahoot, escape room, wordwall, padlet, new methodological attitudes and platforms and as open twinspace of e-twinning HEREDTIAS twinspace. The project connects the partner institutions but illustrates strong cooperation with the local bodies, organisations from the university, museums, libraries, geriatric clinics, leisure centre, educational and amusement centres in connection with our ancestors, which definitely enriched and complemented the project work and provided its smooth procedure.
