Project Summary

During the project various activities will be provided through partnerships with Accident Time (United Kingdom), Chengdu School SE (China), InSite (Hungary), Kabitaka School (Zambia), Kumut Chandruang Fundation (Thailand) and Društvo ustvarjalcev Taka Tuka (Slovenia).
All the participants will actively cooperate throughout the whole project, working towards the same goal in contact with each using worldwide communication channels. We will organize training courses, conference, educational visits and youth exchange where participants from our target group will be actively involved from the preparation, through implementation to the evaluation of the project.
The target group of our project is at the first place group of young people with hearing and communicating limitations, then their hearing peers and all youth workers, teachers, specialists who work with them and last but not least the institutions which works with those groups of young people. Our project is focused on decreasing the communication and integration problems that deaf and hard of hearing young people encounter. By implementing our past projects we find out that deaf young people have a lack of vocabulary to explain how they are feeling.
The most important result of the project will be program and book where will be the exact instructions how to deal with the emotions. With this educational tool which will be disseminated at the end of the project and also after finishing the project a lot of youth workers, teachers, psychologist and parents will be able to achieve better emotional development of the youngster who will go through that program.
