Project Summary

The project has enabled Fingerprints Learning to be expanded to tailor education to the needs of older people. Fingerprint Learning an innovative approach to understanding different learning styles and key in Lifelong Learning.
The aim of the project was to exchange good practice in learning about seniors, taking into account individual differences and developing cooperation between adult education organizations in Spain, Sweden, Portugal and Poland.
The specific objectives of the project were:
1. Raising the level of competence of adult educators, trainers and trainer in the field of personalized learning – Fingerprint Learning
2. Increasing the international dimension of senior education through cooperation between organizations of the partner countries.
3. Extension of high quality offer learning tailored to the individual needs of adults – Fingerprints Learning.
The partnership was formed from four participating organizations. Composition of partner groups from different parts of Europe such as the Iberian Peninsula (Spain and Portugal), Central Europe (Poland) and Scandinavia (Sweden) has allowed exchange of good practices and know-how between organizations.
The target group of the project was the elderly 65+. The project was addressed to seniors and responded to the needs of this group.
The project implemented the following activities:
– “Questionarre Fingerprint Learning tool” was developed to assess the individualized educational needs of the elderly.
– Through questionnaires the partners conducted research and developed “Analyses the educational needs seniors”.
– In the cooperation of the participating organizations were prepared Modules, the contents of which are:
Module I – Memory of the elderly, perception, perception.
Module II – Foreign Languages. Who wants to learn Chinese?
Module III – Your preferences. Who likes to dance? For whom laptops?
Module IV – We have time.
– The partners organized local and regional meetings, educational exhibitions, poster sessions, conferences.
– Short-term training C1 (5 days of joint training of staff) on “Mentoring, coaching and counseling for seniors”.
Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) were held to support the project’s coordination and implementation.
The planned results have been achieved: – An innovative Questionarre Fingerprint Learning tool has been developed to assess the individual needs of older people. – A comparative analysis of learning styles. – Materials for adult educators, teachers, trainers, psychologists and people supporting the teaching of the elderly. “Fingerprint Learning for Seniors.”
The project was part of the Erasmus + program. The project has benefited the education system and inspired the use of personalized learning programs for older people.
Activities to disseminate and exploit results were a means of promoting the work done in the project. The sustainability of the project results has been ensured through actions that are continued and maintained after the Erasmus + Program finalization.
