Project Summary

CLIL (Content and Language Integrated Learning) is emerging across Europe but countries are bystanders. In several countries, CLIL has been incorporated into the national curricula from primary schools to universities. The project partnership represents different stages in the application of CLIL.
The project promoted inclusion, diversity, equality, genre balance and non discrimination in one strategic European partnership made of 6 organizations. The partnership is made of 4 schools, 2 NGO-uri that, all together, bring their experience in working with social disadvantaged students (RO and UK), migrants (IT and UK), over gifted students (TK), NGOs with expertise in the development of European projects and dissemination to local/regional/national authorities, and dissemination to local /regional/national/European, international authorities, (GR), NGO with a great cultural experience and experience in working with disadvantaged groups, partnerships with local authorities (IT)
The partnership will support the development of each institution as a entity and as a whole, the existing human resources in each of the institution-students, teachers,staff, adults, parents,etc..During the school events and other exchanges of good practices, members of each organization will improve:
A) Key competencies: communication in foreign languages, digital competencies and for using ICT , competencies of interpersonal relationship and civic competencies; initiative and entrepreneurship; cultural sensitivity and artistic expression;
B) transversal competencies: critical thinking, responsibility, the development of European cooperation
II. for school staff:
A) professional competencies: to lead and monitor the learning process, to use digital technologies, to understand, counsel and to differentiate students in learning process
B) transversal competencies: institutional development of school and of partnership school-community, linguistice, communication, the development of European cooperation.
III. for staff from NGO
A) professional competencies: linguistics, digital competencies, team work
B) transversal competencies: institutional development , communication, linguistics, the development of European cooperation.
Through the exchange of good practices the project intent to increase the gap between different disadvantaged groups/ with special needs from the partnership, in European multicultural context
The broader innovative character of the project includes the type of the partnership composed of 4 schools and two NGOs (one of these organization are a youth organization EVS accredited as a European Voluntary Service, with volunteers), with the the development of CLIL resources for formal, non formal and cross curricular activities with all the positive effects to the beneficiaries, institutions and other stakeholders.
