Project Summary
ReACT – Reacting to Adult Unemployment with Coaching & Training as tools is an innovative strategic partnership focussed on increasing employability skills of low skilled adults in entering the labour market through coaching and training.
ReACT is bringing together 7 partners from Netherlands, Greece, Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania and Croatia. Each partner is specialist in a different field related to adult education, this are: learning and non-formal education, business coaching & training, formal education, social entrepreneurship, outdoor, personal development and career counselling.
The objectives of ReACT are:
– Extending and developing adult educators’ coaching and training competences, to low-skilled adults-
– Improving and extending the supply of high quality learning opportunities tailored to the needs of individual low-skilled so that they enhance their key competences
– To disseminate project’s results, inside and outside the participating countries during and after the lifetime of the project
– To ensure that evaluation in personal and organizational level, happens during the whole project timeline, through meetings, Europasses and questionnaires.
– To create a sustainable partnership of complementary parties (partners, associated partners, stakeholders)
In order to reach its goals the project includes 2 transnational meetings (14 persons/meeting) , 2 Intellectual Outputs consisting of a coaching book and a training book, three training activities (126 persons), 6 study visits (84 persons) and 7 multiplier events.
The methodology we apply in ReACT is process-based and it is in line with Andrew McCoshan’s EPALE Thematic Coordinator
The main results of ReACT are:
The 2 Intellectual Outputs: a book about training and coaching methodology tailor-made for educators who are working with low skilled adults and a book about advanced coaching methodology for the same target group.
The outcomes on the participants are:
– Improved competencies linked to professional profiles (training, coaching)
– Motivation for professional training and skills development
– Motivation for training low skilled adults
– Upgrade of knowledge in different pedagogical approaches
– Enrich professional expertise by advanced coaching methodology
– Feel comfortable to use systemic and provocative coaching to work on personal issues of a learner
– Booster motivation for follow up the low skilled adults they are supporting
– Better understanding of interconnections between formal, non-formal education and labour market
– Widen their horizons by experiencing different European cultures
– Be inspired to participate in other Erasmus+ project
– Advance their foreign language skills
As an outcome the partner organisations will:
– Equip their staff with new pedagogical materials needed to address their target groups
– Improve the partners’ educational output by adding in a new way to work with their target groups
– Be willing to open up to and appreciate new ideas coming from other European countries and have a better understanding of collaborative working in European context
– Expand their international profile
– Expand their visibility in partner countries
– Be motivated for trans-national, interdisciplinary and cross-field cooperation
– Get interested to organize Erasmus+ project
– Serve as an example of good cooperation between different types of education and enterprises.
– Strengthen of international profile
– Coordination and project management skills,
– Create a strong connection in the methodology of the partners
– Be engaged in European collaborative teamwork and interdisciplinary cooperation
