Project Summary

We are two fairly ordinary schools in two fairly ordinary communities, but we have lots of enthusiastic students and lots of very supportive parents. We plan to exchange 88 14-year-old students (44 from each country, boys and girls) and approximately 8 teachers. Students will live with their partners for one week in each country. They will attend lessons in the respective schools, experiencing education in another EU country and they shall visit local companies and participate in team building exercises, giving them an insight into the local workplace, cultural insights generally and also into the geographic/climatic differences between the two EU countries. Ideally, we will foster young people who cherish European cultural diversity and open their eyes to opportunities of studying abroad in another EU country. We hope too that many participants will develop life-long friendships.
