Project Summary

The 21st century is rapidly changing period. It’s essential to focus on development of necessary skills to become successful and confident in the nowadays society. Four Cs skills – Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, Critical thinking are considered to be important skills for life and successful work careers. Therefore it is significant to integrate them into teaching and learning process. The main objectives of the project are developing of four Cs skills of all project participants, creating methodological support and boosting language competences via the cooperation among partner schools and practical work. Both teachers nad pupils will take an active role in the project. Activities are designed for pupils aged 12-15 and relevant teachers. The school partnership team members are from Portugal, Italy, Slovenia and the Czech Republic. About 200 pupils and teachers will participate in international exchange events and more pupils and teachers will take part in project activities in their schools. During the project period we will gradually develop four Cs skills, focusing on one skill each time – Communication, Collaboration, Creativity, Critical thinking. In project activities various methods will be used – brainstorming, mind maps, drama, experiential learning, crafts, dance, problem solving, task-based learning, peer teaching etc. Project outcomes will be published on TwinSpace and share in project workshops. Pupils will record their four Cs skills development in their project portfolios. Methodology ebook will be elaborated to provide overview of piloted techniques and feedback on activiites. After the project’s end, schools will organise seminars for interested schools to present the project portfolios, experience, management and outcomes. Parents, legal representatives and parents will be invited to Erasmus+ Day to learn about the project. Schools will offer to share methodological guide for developing of four Cs skills in teaching process.
