Project Summary

According to the report of the EU Ministry of Labor, 65% of the children who are educated today will work in nonexistent jobs today. The proficiency of the professions whose name is not even known cannot be expected to be specific. 21st century, created own language .When we do not speak this language, the lessons cannot go beyond being seen as long and monologue. If we can teach 21st century skills to our students, we will educate our children in the equipment that will be able to successfully practice the occupations that do not already exist.Our project team was sent forms to our project partners for the problem areas and solution suggestions for getting 21st century skills on School Gateway and Etwinning platforms.When the forms are evaluated, common problems in our schools are;
-Processing of boring lessons,
– Ignoring individual differences in the interests and abilities of the students,
-Students’ creativity, critical thinking, inability to solve problem-solving skills,
-The needs for the development of students and teachers on digital literacy and media literacy
The best practices for these problems experienced in the schools we have identified as our project partner have been determined by the information forms we send to our partners;
1-TURKEY: ‘Conscious Technology for the Future’ project. Good practices about Media and the Digital Literacy,
2-ITALY: Skills applications that will facilitate the adaptation of students to the service sector within the scope of Lifelong Learning,
3-SPAIN: Systematic programs for gaining life skills,
4-LITHUANIA: 21st Century Technology Education-Robotic Coding Good Practices
5-POLAND: Learning to learn-Good practices for gaining knowledge in the information age
6-GREECE: Students with special needs will contribute to 21st century skills with good practices.
Our project is designed to adapt this change to 21st century skills in a rapidly changing and developing world. We aim to increase students ‘motivation to attend school (Attitude Scale), decrease in the number of absenteeism days (attendance follow-up system data), and improve our teachers’ skills by improving and sharing our good practices.
Our project has been designed on the basis of increasing the 21st century skills of the teachers and students.
Our Project Goals:
• To increase teachers’ competencies in ensuring the permanence and continuity of learning, in which students are actively involved in the courses,
• To increase the competence of teachers to make in-class planning within the scope of their individual differences regarding their interests and abilities,
• Improving students’ co-operation, co-existence skills
• Improve teacher competence to develop students’ creativity
• Increasing teacher qualifications to develop students’ creativity, critical thinking, acting in harmony with others, and developing problem-solving skills
• To prepare training plans for the development of students and teachers on digital literacy-media literacy
• Reduce our students’ absenteeism rate by 10% in the first year% 5 second year by increasing the motivation of learning through effective learning methods (continued follow-up system data)
• To enable our parents to become a model for the about 21st century skills
• Reduce the rate of early school leaving to 10% with happy teacher-happy students by creating a positive school climate with 21st-century basic skills and equipped teachers
With the activities to be done during the project process;
– In-Class Skills Development Activity Book will be created for our teachers to develop students’ creativity, critical thinking and problem solving skills,
– Strategy and Mind Games esi and social and physical activities will be supported with the diversification of students
– The qualifications of the teachers working in the classroom where the students with different interests-skills and skills are suitable for European norms and criteria will increase, their status, morale and professionalism will increase.
** Within the scope of increasing teacher qualifications, which are our priority in the project, our teachers;
– The ability to equip students with creative thinking, problem solving, cooperation, communication, accurate and short access to information, equipping them with the skills required by the age they are in.
-Problem solving skills to cope with behavioral problems will be increased skills,
* Prevention of early school leaving among our priorities;
– Early school dropout rates will decrease with the positive attitudes of the students who are supported with psychosocial development of children’s games.

***The EU 2020 strategic goals will contribute to smart growth and the reduction of early school drop to 10%.
