Project Summary
Why it is necessary for the VET “IQinDIGIT” project to have 4 European countries participating in vocational training based on the transfer of good practices;
Vocational trainers know that vocational training is an expensive education everywhere. In the field of electronics workshop hardware costs are quite high. The amount of hardware per student is not always sufficient. For this reason, technical teachers need simulators and computer programs during workshop studying and they have to improve themselves.
Also our school’s having deficiency on international project, cooperation, application approach experience and knowledge on EU countries’ educational system.
The competences that our teachers acquire should be recognized and verified by European means. For all these reasons this project has been created.
Our Project Targets ;
The project participants’re increasing their qualificatons by learning 4 computer programs (EKTS, MicroC for Microcontrollers, Labview and Ardunio-Software) related on electronic field, transferring these new qualifications to other colleagues in their institutions,
Especially through transnational cooperation, schools will be improving their qualifications, achievementing of innovation and internationalization,
With the help of new computer programs learned in this project , the success rate in reaching the VET targets will be improved,
Improving the quality of education by providing the student with ICT modelling support in vocational education with the help of the web site we are going to prepare,
Ensuring the students graduate with more qualifications including proficiency on digital innovations and new technologies ,
Primarily in our school, creating synergies among different educational institutions and encouraging practicing the ICT Methodologies on electronic fields and open education resources in a more strategic and integrated way,
If necessary, developing the common cirruculums so as to include useful aplications which are going to be obtained from the analysis of relationships between education methodologies and industrial enterprises,
Using foreign language worksheets in our schools, motivating teachers and students to learn and improve foreign language and providing several connections intended for practicing language skills required for the labour market.
Project participants consist of expert partners in the field of electronic education and are competent to share their experiences. Sharing of good experiences will take place in all short-term training events to be carried out during the execution of the project. At the same time, the activities to support this will be carried out in all short-term training events.
The expected impact on the participants (technical teachers/professionals);
– the participating specialists will increase their knowledge in the relevant field of knowledge by the exchange of their methodological experience during the meetings and creating the new methodology with the use of innovative approaches base on the combination of different subjects;
– the staff will improve their European awareness while participating in project activities held during visits of partners in cooperating schools as well as between them;
– the higher quality of professional and ESP education will be achieved in partner schools, especially in teaching electronics;
– the staff will develop their language skills, including both foreign language use in authentic settings, as well as written and oral use of the mother tongue in formal settings;
– they will develop the use of ICT Technologies on their fields;
– they will improve interpersonal skills, especially in the areas of management and communication;
– there will be growth in their professional goal setting and increased self-assurance and efficacy of planning actions;
– they will develop their management skills, and particularly project related managerial skills which might then be transferred into the classroom management;
– They will improve their planning skills and the use of planning and assurance tools which might be then transferred into the classroom;
– They will enhance their competencies with the skills of using new computer programs.
The expected impact on the participants (partner schools):
