Project Summary
MOZAIC – equal possibilities for all is a project focusing on the improvement of the first aid for people with disabilities education in countries involved in. With the creation of an curriculum and online courses for giving first aid for persons with disabilities, we will implement institutionally based strategies for inclusion and equal opportunities for all, including disadvantaged groups.
For the first intellectual output we will select participants who have background working in the area of first aid and persons with disabilities , together with our partners we will use their knowledge in analogizing current and previous situation about the topic relevant for this project proposal. All of the partner organization
including the applicant, will announce open call for this kind of experts. Our criteria will be, more then 5 years experience in work in the area of first aid and persons with disabilities , more than 5 publications, research, brochures or guidelines in the line with relevant topic, fluent English will be advantages, also master or PhD level.
Other group of participants will be pupils, teachers, trainers from all over the Europe. We will include all the participants from those institutions, after we make a survey about their interests and knowledge in the topic we will begin with the activities planned in the project.
Other participants will be from different working areas, according to the projects activities, we will need IT people, who will create the Open Educational Platform and online training courses, as well for the developing of curricula. We will choose this participants, transparent and according to their experience in working on such an activities.
The objectives of this project is aligned with the horizontal priority Social Inclusion. The most relevant horizontal priority addressed by the MOSAIC project is the priority Open and innovative practices in a digital era.The sectoral priority most relevant to the MOSAIC project is promoting quality, innovation and recognition of youth work, which mean that we will improve the skills to the young people from 2 countries for giving first aid to the PwD’s. After the project their skills will be recognize in the area of youth work, because a lot of youth workers can volunteers in the area relevant with the project topic.
Two transnational meetings will be held involving persons from the project management teams/administration and experts/researchers involved in the production of the project outcomes one at the beginning of the project in Tetovo and the other at the end of the project in Germany.
The long-term impact of the project will be achieved by providing a tailored and systematic approach of knowledge to youth, different first responder’s organizations thought innovative methods (OER, new and innovative curricula and online training courses) and awareness rising measure thus reducing vulnerability of society. Additionally, it is foreseen that project products and deliverable will be transferable into regular training process for different target groups and made available for the whole of Europe.From the long-term perspective the project will contribute the implementation of different national, regional, EU and International commitments and goals by ensuring meaningful participation of youth in giving first aid, preparedness and response activities. Moreover, new
cooperation between cross-sectoral stakeholders ) will be developed by ensuring connectivity of methodologies, policies and comprehensive
implementation of goals in different policy areas. Long-term endurance among stakeholders will be maintained based on common interest on best practice for implementation of international commitments.
Long term effect: less casualties, victims, damage due to better understanding of first aid for PwD’s.
For the project activities a more profound study has to be performed to investigate what is already done and to know where the blind spots are in the two respective countries, 3 active in first aid systems and the needs of the target groups. This investigation uses different types of research
methods, like desktop research, survey and (group) interviews. The results will be aggregated to specifications
for the development of the OER and online trainings, as well as policy paper. The group interviews will be done with the target groups. Their involvement is foreseen
instrumental to the project.
The OER will be developed using standard IT development methodology. Crucial is the testing if the OER its specification by involving the target groups.
For dissemination of the IT tools to the target groups a train the trainer program will be run.
