Project Summary

The three partner schools have decided to apply together for this project because they all need to discover, create and improve innovative methodologies, in order to foster each student a learning process that fits its own requests. Robotics can really be used as a crosscurricular tool because it is practical and addictive, and most of all because it can actually halp students to improve their Problem Solving and decision making skills, not only at school but for their whole life.
The main objective of the project is trying and sharing new and more effective methodologies Robotics based, teachers and students together, not only for STEM, but for every subjects, testing their effectiveness for the students needs.
The main participants are the students involved in the mobilities ( ten for each school in each mobility) and the accompanying teachers (two for each school in each mobility), but the “best practises” tested during the mobilities will be shared with all the students and staff of each school, to foster a wide dissemination, through meetings, on line seminar, chat and on the Twin Space of the project on eTwinning.
Workshops about Robotics and Coding are the main activities (Cody Roby, Pixel Art, WeDo, Lego, Unplugged, Storytelling, Scratch); Cooperative Learning and Peer Education will be used too, to create a fair and interactive environment. The eTwinning platform will also be used, as a place to communicate, share and train, infact there will be on line training seminar for teachers and students.
The carried out methodologies together will be uploaded on a database, available for all the staff and students of the three involved school; they will also become part of the curriculum of each school, pushing forward innovation for teachers and students. This new tool, crosscurricular Robotics, should support the teaching and learning of every subjects, to enable the construction of everlasting mind structures, useful in every situation of life, in a long term vision of our students as European citizens, open minded and innovative, skilled in entrepeunership and decision making.
